Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of obstacles will I face?

Obstacles are designed by local equestrians with the assistance of a carpenter. American Competitive Trail Horse Association obstacles are reviewed prior to creation. All obstacles incorporate this year’s "Ride-Opoly"-inspired theme.

Is the ride suitable for all ages?

The ride is designed to be exciting, but most importantly, safe. The event is most suitable for riders who are confident attempting new challenges on the trail. However, riders of all ages are welcome, and riders are not required to complete an obstacle if they are not comfortable doing so.

How should I dress?
Weather-appropriate trail attire is recommended. Helmets are required for riders 18 years and younger.

What should I know about the event location?
Double Tree Farms is the riding location of the Saint Vincent Equestrian Team and home of the historic 1848 Concord School. Trailer parking will be available on site. No dogs are permitted at the event.

What time will I ride out?
When you register, you may indicate whether you would prefer to ride-out in the 9:00-10:30 time slot or 10:30-12:30 time slot. Ride-out times are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Ride times will be sent out by email on August 22nd.

Can I ride out at the same time as my friends?
Yes, when you register using the form below, you can note whom you would like to ride with. To ensure adequate spacing, groups with more than 4 riders may be assigned adjacent ride-out times.

How many ribbons will be awarded?
We will have “classes” for rider age, horse age, and horse breed. Ribbons will be distributed for each class, first through sixth place. We will also have ribbons for Grand and Reserve Grand Champions! Riders who do not wish to stay for the ribbon ceremony can choose to have their ribbons mailed for an additional fee.

How do I register?
To receive the $5 discount, RSVP using the Google Form (available by clicking the black button below) by August 22nd. Payment (cash or check) will be collected at the gate. All riders will be required to submit a liability form the day of the ride. Forms can be printed and completed ahead of time, but there will also be hard copies of the forms available at the registration table. Please note that event organizers reserve the right to modify or cancel the event if deemed necessary.
